About me
I'm Tim, a software developer from Reinfeld near Lübeck, Germany. Under the name PockyDev I build my own apps and stay hands-on with the code.
I studied computer science at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Lübeck and have been building software professionally since 2014, first on Java backends and from 2018 with a focus on Android. Today I work in an engineering leadership role, with teams, planning and plenty of meetings.
That's why I enjoy building my own Android apps in the evenings and at weekends, with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, from the first idea to the release on Google Play. AI tools like Claude Code are a fixed part of my workflow, from planning through code to tests.
